Some of Houlihan's earliest plant awaiting deliveryWhen the company was founded in 1972, John Houlihan soon concluded that owning principle items of plant -- essential to the work being undertaken -- would be a primary objective. That ambition was soon to be fulfilled.

Houlihan currently owns the essential plant required by a progressive groundwork and civil engineering company, together with transport vans and lorries, and yard-based and mobile engineers.
